Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is an Hollywood actor and writer that has won critical acclaim for her skills. Sagittarius. The actress was born on the coast of North Carolina December 3, 1960. She's the eldest of three children that were the children of Peter Moore Smith (a paratrooper) as well as Anne Smith, who is a psychologist. Her parents are of English and Scottish heritage. Moore was often in and out of her family due to the duties for her father. It was difficult to make or maintain new acquaintances. The family moved to Germany Moore attended Frankfurt American High School where she was first a part of productions. In 1983 she received an BA in Fine Arts from Boston University. Thesis in Theater. Moore was a graduate of college at the time of her graduation in New York and started her acting career off Broadway following her move into New York. Her screen debut came in 1985 when she appeared on an episode from The Edge of Night. The following year, she played in the roles of Frannie as well as Sabrina Hughes in As the World Turns which became her breakthrough. It ran through 1988, and she won the Daytime Emmy Award. Her first movie appearance was Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. The film was later criticized as a poor budget production. Short Cuts was produced by Robert Altman in 1993 and 3 Women was released in 1997. She received several nominations and received praise for her initial film. Moore played her first main character in Safe(1995). The casting of Steven Spielberg's Moore in Jurassic Park: The Lost World which is among the highest grossing films from 1997, was a significant change in Moore's career. The film she starred in was Magnolia (1999) and was praised by critics which earned her an SAG nomination for her part. In 2002 she co-starred in The Hours which got nominated for nine Academy Awards with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep. Moore's other movies comprise The Forgotten 2004 Freedomland 2006. Shelter (2010), and many more. In 2014, she was in Non-Stop. Moore has been on numerous films and television shows. Moore has appeared in a number of movies and TV series. The most recent role she played was when You Finish Save the World 2022. She's established herself in Hollywood as well as being an author of children's books that is successful. Her first novel was published Freckleface Strawberry (2007) and it was an N.Y.T. bestseller. This best-seller was turned into a movie, a series, and even into a musical. The book she wrote in 2013 titled My Mom is A Foreigner was also a best-seller. Moore's private life was made public as a highly popular author and actress. In 1984 she married John Robin and in 1995 they separated. Bart Freundlich is the father of two of her children. Moore is a woman who values her career and family.
